Ultrasonic Faux Wood Grain Diffuser Product Overview
This is a great little diffuser that gives a lot of punch in terms of power. One thing to consider when picking a diffuser beside the aesthetic is – will it output enough to cover the size of the room that it is going in? A 500 ml/17 fl. oz. size diffuser will have large enough capacity that can run all day and night and cover roughly 400 square feet. So if you have a standard family room size that is 20 feet x 18 feet which is around 360 square feet room, a 500 ml/17 fl. oz. is plenty big.
This diffuser utilizes high-frequency ultrasonic electrical vibrations to creat an ultra-fine aromatherapy mist. Because it doesn’t utilize heat, the integrity of the essential oil maintains its holistic properties.
Usage Suggestion: Just add tap water to the fill line and 5 drops of your favorite essential oils. Add more drops for a stronger aroma. This diffuser will diffuse up to 8 hours then shuts off automatically.
What Other Important Things to know?
Essential oils can be corrosive to the diffuser so it’s important not to let the oils touch the surfaces of the diffuser. If you have essential oils on your hands already, be sure to wash your hands before you touch the diffusing unit and adapter. I always fill the water tank with water first and then add the essential oil instead of the other way around.
What I like about this diffuser is that the water tank is made of oil-resistant polymer polypropylene plastic and is BPA free. So you don’t have to worry about anything else diffusing out other than water and the essential oils that you had place in there.
Another great thing about this diffuser is the nice dark like wood design, and the 3 LED night light settings of blue, green, and red, or I can simply turn off the light all together while it’s still diffusing.
Is there Cleaning Involved?
I find cleaning this diffuser is fairly easy. I simply wipe down the unit with warm water and a soft cloth and cotton swab for hard to reach area. If you don’t clean your diffuser frequently, you may end up with a mildew smell. This is usually caused by the water and oil collecting at the lid cover. Just clean the lid cover by wiping it down with warm water and soft cloth.
